First of all, I need you to know two things.
1. I absolutely adore this dog. I think I've made that pretty evident in the past...
2. We don't give our dogs "people food." Sure, they still stay close by when we are eating since inevitably someone (read: David) will spill and they will reap the reward of his inability to move a utensil carrying food morsels the 8 inches from his plate to his mouth. But, as a rule, the dogs are not fed people food. To this rule I have one exception. And it involves the very occasional placement of goopy goodness on Baxter's nose. Usually it is ice cream but this time it was whipped cream. And why, do you ask, do I do this? It is because when something is on his nose he absolutely can NOT figure out that he needs to lick upwards towards his nose. Baxter+Food on Nose+Can't Figure Out How to Get it Off= Happy Laughy Fun Time for ME!

I just can't do it, Captain! I don't have the power!
Okay, Okay... I know this kind of seems cruel... but it isn't. Okay it is. But really it isn't. Because inevitably he will drop his head and the treat will fall off and he will eat it and be happy. So everyone wins in the end! Especially me... because it is funny.
You may be reading this thinking "that girl needs to get a life" and to that I say... Yep.

Okay, a little help? For realz.
