I'm not quite sure what is going on with North Carolina winters... but apparently NC has decided that it wants blistering hot and humid summers AND freezing cold snowy winters. But this new plan NC has in action did afford us something that I don't think I've ever witnessed before... a white Christmas! Growing up, I remember watching all of the Christmas classics they show on TV and ALL of them have one thing in common. They have snow on the ground when everyone wakes up on Christmas morning. So it was something of a treat to be able to experience that!
We are in the midst of receiving some snow and ice as I type which motivated me to post the picture of Gray, David, and me for his first snow (taken at the end of December)! I can't believe he is a month old and will have witnessed two snows! And before the middle of January, no less!
