Baby Shower!

Errr. Umm.. Sooo...

It appears as though it has been almost a month and I just realized that I forgot to post about the baby shower!!



Ooooooops. It really was a wonderful day. Friends and family from near and far were there and the day was very special!



I primarily have pictures of food.



Which was, BTW, muy delicioso! Thank you very much to my mamacita! And then I have a few shots of the aftermath of the shower. Since I was the center of attention (awkward) during the shower, I don't have any pictures of me actually opening gifts.



But I do have pictures of the delicious cake. And I'm not quite sure how I managed to take a picture at this terribly awkward angle but, SUCCESS!... I did.



I was trying to rush and grab pictures of the food before it was all gobbled up and before my mom took a broom to my behind in order to get the program started.

The cake was not only delicious but beautiful!






Believe it or not, my sister Anna made the diaper cake! So awesome! I actually didn't appreciate everything that was involved with the cake until I got it home... so many cute accessories!




Aaaaand here is most of the aftermath of the shower.



Let me tell you, I was/am so fortunate. We received really wonderful gifts, both new and heirloom... it was very special. I am especially fortunate to have received beautiful handmade blankets that I can't wait to pass along to the little one. They are incredibly special. I know you will be seeing them in detail in the coming months so I don't want to spoil the beauty now! I actually have individual photos of each gift, but I figure you will see enough of them once Baby is here!
