Things have been super duper busy around here. The nursery has been painted and everything has been ordered or is in the process of being made, the carpets and upholstered furniture have been cleaned, we are finally organizing the bonus room, we finally have a carpet plan for the living room, we are working on one for the den, we think we have a carpet solution for the stairs, we will have several of our light fixtures changed this week, I've re-organized our laundry room and done approximately 1,527 loads of laundry, I have our Christmas cards designed (just waiting on ordering!), I've cleaned out my closet, we've re-organized the other guest room closets to accommodate Baby, I've scoured the refrigerator in anticipation for Thanksgiving and I just finished cleaning out my spice/baking/etc cabinets in the kitchen. Whew! We've managed to complete a lot but there is still so much left to be done! I have so much to do before Thanksgiving arrives it is terribly frightening! So. Much. To. Do.
So, to make myself feel better.... I'm going to show you the picture I just took of my clean cabinet.

I didn't take a before picture. Possibly because I forgot. Possibly because I was too embarrassed to show you what it really looked like since the door wouldn't fully close. Possibly a combination of the two. But look at it now! There is even a giant section of free space (that was once inhabited by my twelve million types of different flour)! In conclusion, I am awesome. So awesome that I will never again need to buy Farfalle noodles (take a gander at the top shelf... I think they were on sale...)
